We are currently seeking motivated and flexible casual General Hands to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for casual employment and who are interested in gaining experience in the fit out industry. As a casual General Hand, you will be responsible for providing general assistance and support in various tasks related to fit out projects.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation and dismantling of fixtures, displays, and equipment in retail spaces
- Carrying and moving materials, tools and supplies as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure proper care of tools and equipment
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Following instructions from installers and work collaboratively with the team
- Use hand and power tools to complete installations efficiently and effectively
- Adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment
- Being able to travel to both metropolitan and regional stores (travel allowance when applicable)
Requirements
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Use of own hand and power tools
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Attention to details and a commitment to delivery quality work
- Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle
