We are seeking a cleaner to provide general cleaning services, with a primary focus on ongoing construction cleanup following the builder's work and adhering to builder's cleaning instructions to ensure a safe, clean and healthy environment each day. This is an immediate start, with work scheduled from 8:30am to 12.30pm, Monday – Friday (4hr shift per day).
You will be friendly and professional, reliable and punctual, take pride in your work with an eye for detail and have previous cleaning experience (preferably in a similar role in construction cleaning or in commercial/office cleaning).
Tasks include:
- General cleaning; such as cleaning & disinfecting, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, glass/window cleaning etc.
- Disinfecting all bathrooms, urinals & sinks
- Rubbish disposal to designated areas
- Ensure all areas occupied are clean and tidy to the highest standard
- Complete specified tasks daily & conduct quality checks of all areas
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is clean, maintained & securely stored
- Working independently in a safe and professional manner
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and WH&S policies
- Adherence to construction site protocols and safety requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Must have a construction White Card
- Previous experience in a similar role essential (either construction cleaning or commercial/office cleaning)
- Knowledge of workplace health & safety (WH&S) practices (training will be provided)
- Able to deliver consistent high-quality cleaning & attention to detail
- Professional manner with good communication skills
- Positive, can do attitude and strong work ethic
- Strives to always provide outstanding service
