Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
TOURIST OFFICER (Casual)
To provide quality tourism information and the highest levels of customer service to visitors and residents of Griffith. Be fully conversant with the range of attractions, events and services offered in Griffith and surrounds, also the operation of the Griffith Tourism Hub shop front.
Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require excellent customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and knowledge of Griffith and the region.

Hours of work: As needed over week days, weekends and long weekends
Salary and conditions: Commencement hourly rate $30.83 (Grade 6). plus casual loading of 25% and applicable penalty rates.
