- $80,000 - $100,000 + superannuation
As the Quality Coordinator, you will report to the Regional Operations Manager and work alongside the safety, supply chain, production, maintenance, and operations teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include striving for a zero-harm atmosphere, implementing and maintaining quality systems, eliminating waste, identifying improvements, and ensuring top-quality products are produced.
Responsibilities:
- Drive product Quality Assurance
- Ensure that equipment is produced safely to specification
- Plan, develop and lead ideas for improvement
- Gather and report on overall production performance
- Review costings for production
- Use Lean principles such as Kanban to eliminate waste
- Facilitate Kaizen improvement projects
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a production manufacturing environment
- Steel Manufacturing experience (Not essential, but highly desirable)
- Continuous Improvement experience at a coordinator and/or team leader level
- Auditor qualification and experience (ISO9002)
- Experience using Lean Manufacturing, Kanban and Kaizen techniques
- A get in and get things done attitude
