Job Description


As the Social Media Marketing Intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the day-to-day management of the NBCU Networks and Direct-to-Consumer APAC Social Media and Digital accounts. Reporting to the Social & Digital Marketing Manager, this fast-paced role will be responsible for developing and executing social and digital strategies across our channel portfolio including FTA and Subscription TV channels such as 7Bravo, Bravo New Zealand and DreamWorks

The Social Media Marketing Intern will participate in regular planning and creative sessions, and be able to immerse themselves within the wider Networks marketing team.

Tasks include but not limited to:

  • Copywriting and publishing social posts for each channel
  • Creation of Instagram Stories utilising programming footage
  • Assisting in finding cultural or trending moments for 7Bravo’s TikTok channel as part of Ad Sales pitching, fulfilment and event coverage
  • Assisting in Community Management including engaging with other social channels
  • Set up of Paid Social Marketing campaigns
  • Sourcing for content (approved images/videos) internally and from relevant social show pages to maintain social media channels
  • Scheduling of posts based on brand goals and objectives
  • Sourcing and uploading video content on X/Twitter to maintain revenue sharing partnership
  • Execution of commercial social media commitments
  • Social Media monitoring and research
  • Collating & presenting monthly social media reporting
  • Assisting in campaign implementation and reporting, including coordinating assets, operations and post-reporting i.e. Contests in partnership with Advertisers and Affiliates
  • Servicing of affiliate marketing strategy through assistance of product selection, eDM population and affiliate link tracking
  • Managing and building eDM database,

Qualifications
  • Studying or previous experience in Digital Marketing and/or Social Media
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends and best practices including TikTok, X/Twitter & Meta
  • A passion for reality TV
  • Excellent copywriting capabilities
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills
  • Knowledge or previous experience with Social Tools such as Later, Facebook Ads Manager, Emplifi, Campaign Monitor is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge and passion for entertainment and television, particularly reality and lifestyle TV
  • Proficiency in editing software including Photoshop & Premiere Pro
  • A keen learner and self starter
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking capabilities
