Cyril Jewell House is a Nursing home with 45 beds and forms and important part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital - located in East Keilor. The leisure and life style program is important to the quality of life of all the residents. Cyril Jewell House is committed to improving and enhancing the lives of the individual Through a holistic their life leisure and life style program.

Your new role:
  • Assist in the Development of a leisure and life style program for both group and individuals’ activities
  • Partnering with the residents and staff to enhance the quality of life of all residents
  • Partnering with community and volunteer groups to enhance the program
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, accreditation and leisure and lifestyle policy and procedures.

About you:
  • Suitably qualified Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Certificate III in Aged Care and holds a NDIS workers screening check completed in the last 2 years
  • Passion and enthusiasm for providing respectful, holistic care for older people and those with complex behaviours and care needs.
  • Work with minimal supervision being able to change the program and problem solve as it may arise.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with all residential aged care audiences, including residents, carers, families, staff and managers.
