Do you have:
  • Strong skills and experience solving complex problems and resolving issues
  • A good understanding of land tenure in Queensland and the role of the various Government departments who manage land tenure and state land
  • A collaborative approach to working in a team environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including in establishing and managing successful working relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to provide succinct and well considered advice.
In this role, you'll have the chance to apply these skills and more. Queensland's Strategic Acquisitions Program supports the expansion of the protected area system by buying and transferring land to the protected area estate. This role supports the program by assessing the suitability of land for protection, working with a wide range of key partners to identify and resolve land tenure issues, and monitoring program
implementation. An ability to collaborate with all levels of government, First Nations partners and other strategic partners such as philanthropic organisations is essential.
