Job Description
Our client looks after a wide range of crop production, being one of the largest agricultural businesses in the Pacific region. Mainly dealing with carrots and lettuces, they are also known to produce hybrid beet and chards.
We are looking for enthusiastic workers for our client's large-scale vegetable operation in Narrandera, NSW. This is a busy job that will provide you with great experience and aid towards visa extensions.
The role will see you assisting with all physical operations needed to ensure the production of high-quality vegetable seed. With this your role will also include but not limited to:
- Removing all foreign objects from harvester and paddock
- Ensure areas listed are cleaned at the frequency indicated by supervisors.
- Hose all machinery in the proper manner.
- Use chemicals and equipment as indicated.
- Sweep and shovel all heavy waste off grading platforms, tractors, and trailers.
- Ensure that all packed and unpacked spinach is removed from harvester.
- Other duties as required by the supervisor.
Commencing at the start of October and running for approximately four weeks, you'll be required to work 32-55 hours per week. This role will also require you to do weekend shifts when deemed necessary.
Your Skills & Experience
We are looking for people with a positive attitude who have production line experience and are safety conscious. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions are essential, as field production work will require a degree of this or as specified by your Production Supervisor.
