The TSS Accounting Operations teams core focus is to provide general accounting service to cluster entities, with a major emphasis on undertaking works in relation to reporting on Finance Projects and presenting status to the leadership team within TSS Finance & Procurement.
Our team has adopted a Hybrid way of working. We come together once a week and for moments that matter. The team hub is located in Burwood.
The Opportunity
Right now we have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Project Coordinator to join us in the TSS Accounting Operations team on a fixed term basis for a period of 10 months.
As the Finance Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing high-level project support by working collaboratively with project teams, and by coordinating project related information which supports the efficient and on-time delivery of projects. You will also be involved in creating and managing high quality project delivery, performance, and status reports along with presentations to present it to Director and Executive Director of the branch, and at times to wider audiences as required.
In addition, you will also be involved in parking and posting of journals, preparing month end reconciliations, and completing month end ledger closing tasks.
Key accountabilities
- Assist in the preparation of project delivery documentation, the development of high-level programs and strategies and in the monitoring of all stages of delivery.
- Coordinate and compile information and prepare project and program reports which require identifying and collating relevant data from multiple sources.
- Develop presentations, fact sheets and other information documents.
- Assist in the collection and maintenance of project metrics and in organising and participating in site visits and other project-related events.
- Provide assistance and support as directed in elements of contract management, including preparing, issuing and responding to general correspondence relating to all aspects of contract management, including invoice processing and correspondence.
About you
You are a passionate Finance Project Coordinator looking to take the next step in your career.
You are a Junior Accounting Professional who has a passion for exceptional customer service. You will also have experience in general accounting..
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Finance Qualification (Bachelor/Master) is highly desirable
- Proactive attitude to take ownership of tasks and deliver on deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in general accounting
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders and resolve queries
- SAP experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Can balance working individually and collaboratively with a team
Applicants who have a Finance Qualification (Bachelor/Master) and are CA or CPA qualified or working towards completing it, will be highly regarded.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 5A ($87,256) - 5E ($95,984) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
