About the role
The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing a full range of business, process, and administrative support services to support Customer Service Centre (CSC) Teams and CSC Manager. The Business Support Officer will be focus on processing and analysing all Customer Service Centre and related invoices from multiple vendors to ensure all invoices received are properly presented and justified. This position will assist the manager to identify and implement opportunities to improve the delivery of contracts and services. On a daily basis you will:
  • P rovide the Customer Service Centre Manager and the Customer Service Centre Leadership team with high quality, accurate and timely business support.
  • Preparing and at times coordinating briefing papers, reports, presentations and other professionally presented information using appropriate technology.
  • Managing diaries, organising meeting arrangements, preparing agendas and support materials and taking minutes
  • Assisting with recruitment, organising new starters, performance reviews and other confidential matters
  • Undertaking research, preparing surveys, correspondence and reports as required.
  • Provide project support services to the Customer Service Centre Leadership team.
  • Organising training & conferences (bookings & travel arrangement as well as the preparation of support materials)
  • Locally coordinating the rewards and recognition program for Customer Service Centre teams
  • Compiling Council reports as required and coordinating the completion of Councillor Service Requests.
  • Monitoring financial and budget information in relation to the Unit’s Business Plan/s including researching, collating and interpreting performance measures and trends.
  • Other project support and administration duties as required from time to time.
  • Coordinating internal and external customer service requests and maintaining and developing business relationships with internal and external customers and providing a friendly and professional service to those who come in contact with Customer Service Centre.
About You
The successful candidate should have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Administration (or related discipline) or a significant amount of comparable industry experience in an administrative support capacity.
  • 3+ years relevant administrative experience, with a proven track record of achieving objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level support to a broad team, or a senior personal assistant role, as well as lead and manage small projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in business, customer and relationship management including handling sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Experience in the preparation of tender and/or procurement documentation.
  • Experience with business analytics and data administration preferred.
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $78,860 to $86,866 plus 10.5% Super.
