Administrative Assistant [Australia]


 

Mid Murray Support Service Inc is a Community Not-For-Profit Organisation that has been operating for over 30 years within our Mid Murray Region. We are on the lookout for our next Administrative Assistant, to help continue our vital work within the community.

This casual position will yield 20 hours of work over 4 days. We are looking for someone able to start straight away and get into the swing of the organisation, helping us with our vision "Making Lives Better".

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Perform internal audits, assist with general administration, and backfill reception.
  • Phone support and customer service
  • Emails, phone calls, scanning, electronic filing, and other day-to-day administration tasks.
  • Maintaining documents, databases, and registers
  • Data entry in multiple online systems
  • Preparing reports and audits based on operational data.
  • Multiple administrative tasks across different departments
  • Update meeting presentations, proposals, and documents.
  • Coordinate, manage, and maintain documentation.
  • Providing administrative support and assistance to Operations Manager.
  • Administrate the resource library, contract database, and CRM.
  • Contribute to the company's strategic development goals by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's administrative processes.
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies to streamline operations.
  • Assess and improve administrative processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff so they follow policies and procedures.
  • Make sure all records and documents are stored and documented properly.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are understood and implemented.
  • Maintaining paper and electronic employee records, including compliance.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent written, verbal skills and customer service.
  • A sound understanding Microsoft applications, Adobe etc.
  • Experience working with online data systems and other applications.
  • Experience administration positions
  • Be reliable and punctual.
  • A friendly predisposition and enthusiastic approach to ongoing challenges are necessary to be successful in this role.

Job Type: Casual

Salary: From $34.88 per hour
